What Is Aquamation?
The Process
The Aquamation process uses gentle water flow, temperature and alkalinity to accelerate our ecosystem’s natural method of breaking down and decomposing organic matter. At the end of the process, the only remains are the inorganic minerals of the bone, which are dried and processed into a powder for return to the family.
Environmentally Friendly
A gentle process that uses water instead of fire to return a body back to Mother Nature. Using 90% less energy than flame-based cremation. No emissions of harmful greenhouse gases or mercury. The process uses a solution of 95% water and 5% alkaline – It gives peace of mind to those who value sustainability and compassion.
